About the Legacy
Dr. Bhagwan Din Chaurasia (1937–1985) was Reader in Anatomy at GR Medical College, Gwalior. He published his first textbook in 1979, and since then it has been widely read across the world by medical students pursuing MBBS. His books are unique in presenting systemic and comprehensive texts of applied anatomy in simple language with easily reproducible line diagrams. Though he passed away at a young age, his legacy continues through generations of Indian medical students — and through editors like Dr. Krishna Garg, who carry his vision forward.
